De Joode & Kamutzki is an innovate young auction house founded by artist/curator Rachel de Joode and artist/auctioneer Maria Kamutzki. Our auctions are held biannually, at varying locations in Berlin.

The goal with each event is to make contemporary art accessible to everyone. We do not see art as a luxury good that one might consider purchasing after everything else that money can buy.

Art is essential.

Our mission is to inspire people to invest in great artwork not for the sake of its speculative resale value, the status symbol attached to it or as a way to spend money.
We want people to buy art out of love, fascination and admiration.
